Abstract

The process of writing a thesis is a phenomenon that is often frightening among students, but now it turns out that there are several students who can graduate without having to do a thesis, one of which is at the Universitas Swadaya Gunung Jati so that universities are able to adapt to the dynamics of existing changes. The Strategy for Implementing Karya Ilmiah Tugas Akhir Mahasiswa (KITAM) at Universitas Swadaya Gunung Jati includes aspects; What is the response to the implementation strategy for Karya Ilmiah Tugas Akhir Mahasiswa (KITAM) at Universitas Swadaya Gunung Jati? What is the strategy for implementing Karya Ilmiah Tugas Akhir Mahasiswa (KITAM) at Universitas Swadaya Gunung Jati? What are the obstacles to the strategy for implementing Karya Ilmiah Tugas Akhir Mahasiswa (KITAM) at Universitas Swadaya Gunung Jati? The research was conducted using qualitative research methods with research instruments through involvement and interviews and supported by analysis of documents. The research method used is descriptive qualitative with data collection through interviews, observation and documentation with the informant selection technique using purposive sampling of 8 (eight) informants consisting of the Head of Lemlit and TIM, UGJ Lecturers, Students and Journal Managers, so that results from this research can be obtained. a Karya Ilmiah Tugas Akhir Mahasiswa (KITAM) at Swadaya Gunung Jati University that is appropriate and measurable from the perspective of the University, Lecturers and Students and contributes to the development of science and technology as well as the discovery of new theories and concepts or models and policies that are formulated. The research results showed that 1. Response Strategy for Implementing Karya Ilmiah Tugas Akhir Mahasiswa (KITAM) at Universitas Swadaya Gunung Jati, Strategy for organizing Karya Ilmiah Tugas Akhir Mahasiswa (KITAM) at Universitas Swadaya Gunung Jati, the need for guidance, Roadmap, Publication Media for Scientific Work along with Specifications, review team, distribution of collaboration between lecturers and students driven by an organizational decree, provision of publication and monitoring forums, lecturers direct students to create articles/journals and need to carry out control as carried out by the Head of Study Program, facilitated by LPPM, quality control group monitoring implementation, organizational management good.2. The implementation strategy for Karya Ilmiah Tugas Akhir Mahasiswa (KITAM) at Swadaya Gunung Jati University is effective if it complies with the roadmap and is implemented and has an impact on society, namely work in the form of publications. The existence of a special division, a strategy with a variety of specific publication platforms with full institutional mobilization and leadership in order to produce good and correct KITAM. 3. Obstacles to the Strategy for implementing Karya Ilmiah Tugas Akhir Mahasiswa (KITAM) at Universitas Swadaya Gunung Jati at the start with a new policy. KITAM's supporting capacity, dissemination of information, costs, were prepared optimally. The Strategy Efforts to Implement Student Final Assignment Scientific Work (KITAM) at Swadaya Gunung Jati University Based on the results of the Focus Group Discussion (FGD) and observations that there are several strategic efforts to implement Karya Ilmiah Tugas Akhir Mahasiswa (KITAM) at Universitas Swadaya Gunung Jati as follows: Lecturers are given journal training, prepared Writing Clinic, LBU and Money Monitoring, there is stimulus funding for publication, Machine prepared, MOU collaboration with Journal Manager, Method, field study guide and socialization of podcash, PGD, provides journal recommendations, Decree and dean's policy, special application, SOP and Flowchart, Lecturers are determined as well as the theme
